Azariah Residences, Inc.

A to Z — Recovery Lives Here

About Azariah

Azariah Residences, Inc. is a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation and IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity working to establish safe, structured, substance-free recovery housing in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

We are currently developing our program, securing funding and property, and preparing for the approvals needed to open.

Our Mission

To provide a safe, structured, and substance-free living environment for adults recovering from substance use disorder. The organization supports their transition from treatment or incarceration by fostering stability, accountability, and access to peer support and other essential recovery resources. Guided by lived experience, our mission promotes healing, reintegration, and personal growth, empowering residents to contribute positively to their families, workplaces, and communities.

Our Planned Recovery House

Azariah is developing a six-bed recovery house for men in Williamsport, including individuals transitioning from treatment or incarceration. Residents will share household responsibilities, follow house rules, and support one another, with oversight from a House Manager.

The recovery house is not yet open or licensed. Azariah intends to seek licensing through the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP). We do not plan to provide detoxification, medical care, counseling, or clinical treatment on site; residents can access independent community providers for those services.
